Loving Laos

Laos is not well known among general travelers, but whoever has backbacked his/her way around Southeast Asia, knows that Laos is an amazing destination. A great backpacking destination, Laos is an even better destination if you have more time to share to venture deeper off the beaten track and visit The Plain of Jars, Bolaven Plateau or the 4000 Island area. Luang Prabang will always be its UNESCO pride, but beyond this beautiful city, the Mekong River and national parks of Laos offer a wealth of exploration with indigenous villages and exceptional flora and fauna.
