Terms and Conditions

Lolei Travel offers their guests as much flexibility and travel comfort as possible. Due to industry contracts and seasonality of our sector we do however need to set payment and cancellation policies as a general guideline. In the case of change or cancellation, our aim is to negotiate the charges and fees down as much as possible to avoid high charges to our guests. We do trust that our guests arrive in the region fully insured and remain properly insured throughout their stay with us. Lolei Travel will provide any kind of assistance needed in case of emergencies. Services (and therefore its charges) arranged by Lolei Travel during such emergencies remain at the liability of the guest. Lolei Travel cannot be held responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen goods during the guest’s stay with us.

Child Policy
Children under the age of 2 years travel for free with Lolei Travel. Children between 2 and 12 years of age are generally granted a reduction of 70% of the total costs per person for land services, provided that the child is accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stays in the same room, using the existing bedding. Extra bedding and/or meals are subject to charge depending on the facilities booked and their policy for children.

Flight tickets are charged as per airline regulations at 10% of total price of adult fare for children under the age of 2 and at full fare for children of 2 years old and above.

At the age of 12 years and above, Lolei Travel considers the child to use adult-like facilities and charges 100% as per local regulations.

The percentages shown are the percentages over the total value of the booking.

*NOTE: Some hotels have adjusted GIT cancellation policies that do not apply to the above. In such case, the hotel’s policy will be mentioned clearly in the travel program before confirmation. Cancellations are only accepted in writing (by email or fax).

FIT and GIT
Any booking below or equal to the amount of 15 paying guests, or equivalent to 8 single, twin or double occupied rooms are considered an FIT booking.

Any booking equal or above the amount of 16 paying guests, or equivalent to 9 or more single, twin or double occupied rooms are considered an GIT booking.

For GIT bookings, other rates may apply depending on the choice of local suppliers. Lolei Travel will negotiate any GIT booking carefully with all suppliers to secure a competitive price.

Payment Policy
Upon confirmation of an FIT tour, a down payment of 25% is required. This is a non-refundable fee in case, for whatever reason may be, the tour arrangements require cancellation. Upon receiving the 25% down payment, the guest is required to settle the remaining balance of 75% of the total tour costs 30 days before arrival. In the case the arrival date is within 30 days of confirmation, full payment is required upon confirmation. Reimbursements of payments made between 30 days and no show are subject to Lolei Travel’s cancellation policy.

GIT bookings may be subject to discussion and its payment and cancellation policies may be negotiated between the client and the management of Lolei Travel, which will then be secured through a written contract.

Methods of Payment
Lolei Travel will issue invoices to the guest or agency after confirmation of tour services. The payment requirements of Lolei Travel will apply to each invoice send. Bank details will be provided on the invoice, where bank charges are not calculated into the company’s total charge. Bank charges are to be covered by the guest/agency and typically include a UD 35 charge for overseas transactions below USD 1,000.

Failure to make payments on time or failure to respect Lolei Travel’s payment policy may result in cancellation of all tour services unless the conditions have been waived and replaced by alternative conditions through prior agreements. Only written agreements can be considered as valid agreements.

Rates
All rates provided by Lolei Travel are in US Dollars and are inclusive of all applicable government taxes, with the exception of departure taxes for domestic and/or international flights. Lolei Travel, however will reserve the right to revise its prices with or without notification in the case of exchange rate fluctuations or any Government implementations of new taxes or systems that may affect the pricing of Lolei Travel’s services.

All rates and services as presented to the guest remain confidential and are non-commissionable. During peak season, additional charges may apply such as compulsory dinners on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, which would be communicated through directly to the agency/guest.

Force Majeure
In the case Lolei Travel cannot operate the confirmed touring program for its guests or operate those services under its normal capacity due to reasons considered to be beyond its reasonable control, Lolei Travel nor shall its guests be in default. These reasons or situations may include but are certainly not limited to, natural disasters, bankruptcy of the company or a supplier, public strikes or labor disturbances, acts of war, acts of God, civil disturbances or other comparing events.

Liability
Lolei Travel acts as intermediary between the concerned airlines, hotels, transport-operators and local tourist offices, who provide the services. The company can therefore not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by tourists. This includes those having occurred outside the company’s touring programs.

The tour programs, prices, services and conditions under the company’s terms and conditions are valid at the time of confirmation of a tour program. The tour programs, prices, services and conditions are subject to change without prior notice before or during a tour, only if Force Majeure or Government actions have affected the operations and pricing.

By confirming a tour, the guest or agency agrees to Lolei Travel’s terms and conditions.
