Totally Thailand
Most people think of Thailand and believe it is easy to all arrange it by themselves, simply because all information is online. Yes, there is a lot of information online, but by the time you have a general idea of what you want to see and do in Thailand, you are weeks further. There is simly too much information!
The time people spend researching is not worth it, and if you believe you safe a lot of money by doing it all yourself, you are mistaken! You pay the price of the streets, and those people will bring you where they bring everyone else.
Enter Lolei Travel, who will deliver a Thai experience like no other! Totally Thailand does not just cover highlights, it uncovers the true meaning of being Thai.
Totally Thailand is a creative program that covers all the highlights of the country, and much more. Where people travel by planes and cars, we take trains and boats. Where people like to sleep in and relax, we take boats to empty beaches on tropical islands. Where people choose western style restaurants, we opt for streetfood.
It is a simple concept, but adds a lot more value to your experien-ce in Thailand. From Bangkok to Chiang Mai, you see Ayutthaya, Khao Yai National Park and Sukhothai, experience Khao Sok and end up on a beach in the south where you are all alone for a few hours before the crowds arrive. All you need to do is get up a bit earlier, wear your walking boots and bring your water bottle.
Length of Tour: 20 days
Totally Thailand is as complete as it gets. You may want to add in Chiang Rai or another island at the end of this tour to complete 3,5 weeks in Thailand, or maybe a quick side trip to Angkor and experience the temples completely “Away from the Crowds”.
Outline of the tour
What does our expert say about this tour?
“These places are all spectacular. We have been to all and experienced the best at each destination. National Parks, historic highlights and the big city with its endless foodstalls, yes, this is the life when you travel! Starting in Chiang Mai is also fun, it allows you to slowly get into the Thai lifestyle pace, rather than starting in Bangkok where everything can be overwhelming. Trekking up Doi Suthep and through Doi Inthanon is a great start of the trip, followed by a cultural lesson at Sukhothai. While everyone takes the train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, we go the other way around and visit Ayutthaya. It’s an often neglected site, fo no apparent reason, It’s amazing! Going a bit more off the beaten track in Khao Yai allows people to connect more with nature before Bangkok is visited. I like the way Bangkok is visited, by longtail boat. It adds a different dimension. Ending in the south with Khao Sok National park and Krabi and Ko Yao Noi is just simply the best. You can choose other islands for Ko Yao Noi of course, but this is a great choice given its still off the beaten track status. I think couples and families love this program, and it can be altered more adventurously, or even more luxury to fit any style of travel.”
