A Walk Through Nature
After arriving in Bangkok you explore China Town by bike and on foot. You see the highlights of the city and beyond. You leave the city and emerge in nature by visiting Khao Yai National Park. Famous for its scenes in the movie The Beach, you trek around the park, jump from the waterfalls like Leonardo di Caprio and take in mother nature in the most serene way.
The journey continues to Ayutthaya where you cycle along the temples. After you visit Erawan National Park and hike along the steps of the Erawan falls. Also Kanchanaburi is included and you learn more about the influence of the Second World War and see the River over the River Kwai and get onto the “Death Railway”.
Visit two of the most iconic markets in Thailand; a floating market and a railway market before flying down south. In the south Thailand’s most beautiful national park awaits; Khao Sok. In three days at the park you kayak, hike and experience what is is like to be a Mahout (elephant trainer). Without harming the nature or animals in any way, you enjoy the amazing experience that Khao Sok offers. End your holidays on the beach, in the heart of the Phang Nga Bay at Koh Yao Yai.
Length of Tour: 17 days The selection of national parks of Thailand in combination with some highlights is well balanced. The tour can easily be adapted to other islands in the south, or Phuket or Krabi. In this program we opt for the slightly more upscale island of Koh Yao Yai as the beach retreat.

What does our expert say about this tour?

“Who does not love nature? Visiting these national parks is an absolute delight. The diversity of these parks is also incredible. You have the waterfalls and hiking trails at Khao Yao and Erawan, the you have the karst stone formations and lakes of Khao Sok. I also like the route because the travel is easy. Sometimes traveling from A to B can be exhausting but on this program it is all shorter transfers. To end at Koh Yao Yai is possibly the best ending. The island is a bit more upscale and lacks the typical cheap backpacker places. It makes me feel at ease. But I have to be honest and say that the China Town tour is my favorite of this all. As a Bangkok resident, I love strolling the small streets of China Town and end up at night on the street food market. There is nothing better than all that fresh seafood to be eaten. I remain Asian, so eating is and will remain my favorite!”
